This is a sweet little scissor dolly I made from a book called

I made this several years ago as a stitch along with my friend Janet.  We each did the hair color in a color similar to our own.  I love this little doll.

Cross Stitched Guitar for my Son

This is a gradation gift I stitched for my son when he graduated a couple of years ago.  It was a free pattern on the internet that I altered to look like his guitar. I removed his name for privacy.

Second Orphaned Block

Here is another block my friend didn't want, so made it into another hot pad.

Orphan Block

This was a block my friend Wendy made that she didn't want, so she gave it to me.  I love the bright cheery colors, so I made it into a hot pad, and practiced Stippling and putting on binding.  I really like how it turned out. Thanks Wendy!

Table Topper

This is one of the first things I pieced, it was a Christmas gift from my daughter several  years ago.  I am going to try and quilt it myself, I am trying to learn to quilt on my reg sewing machine. 

A Couple More Blocks

Here are a couple more block of the month blocks I have finished.  They are from different BOMs

I DID IT! I DID IT! I completed my 1st QUILT TOP!

I am sooooo excited!!  I was looking up big block quilts and ran across www.incolororder.com and she has this wonderful Giant Vintage Star Quilt tutorial and I just had to try it.  Here is my version.  I will try to get a better pic of it soon.
