The Next Bakers Dozen Moda U block
I don't particularly care for this one, not sure if I am going to put it into the quilt.
Neville kitty thinks he is doing me a favor by keeping my blocks from flying away I guess. LOL

More Portobello Market fabric blocks
Here are a few more I made today. I am really enjoying seeing how these look when sewn up. I know jelly rolls are more expensive than just buying yardage and cutting it yourself, but it is such a time saver and you get such a variety of fabrics that go perfect together.

Jelly Roll Quilt Blocks
I bought a Portobello Market jelly roll by Moda on our vacation and found a quilt in a jelly roll quilt book I have to get started on. Here are the blocks I have done so far.
these colors are a little off because the pics are taken with my cell phone.
Vacation!!!
We were blessed to take a vacation and go see the beautiful Lake Superior! We were amazed how pretty the drive was up there. We went thru Kansas and Iowa and the scenery was lovely. The rolling hills and green fields in Iowa were sooo pretty! Here is a rainbow we saw one day.
We actually saw several Quilt Barns! I have never seen one in person before. The pic is blurry, sorry, but in person they were awesome.
Well of course we had to stop at the Largest Mall! The Mall of America, wow, what can I say, we were amazed. There is an amusement park in the center, too fun!
I am a big fan of PEEPS and it was so funny seeing a store full of PEEPS products lol
Then it was on to Duluth, yay!
Bridge that the ships pass under going out of the harbor
We stayed in this adorable Inn, The Inn at Gitchie Gumee, we highly recommend it.
The rooms were rusticly decorated, lol is that a word?
Then we did a little hiking and saw Gooseberry Falls, so worth it!!
We had a great vacation, thanks to all the friendly people there!
