This is the brights colorway.  There is a natural colorway too, I will be doing it also. :)

Each of the blocks will have something to do with nature/animals I believe.

This is the bright fabric way I am doing with my friends at Saturday Sampler. I am also doing the darker color way.  The next 2 pics are of it.

I am loving all of these fabrics.  I have added some from my own stash when I didn't really care for the fabrics the shop picked. 

 

Paris Flea Market by Moda, 10 Minute Block Quilt

Free motion quilting on my aunt's birthday quilt.

 

 

 

This was made for my aunt's 79th birthday.  I used a Paris Flea Market by Moda layer cake to make this.  Plus some yardage for the inner border and a few pieces out of a charm pack for the corners to make it.  I used a tutorial for the 10 minute block found here, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgAZ3_xdkGw  I put this top together in 2 days.  Love loved loved making it and hope to make one for myself soon.  Thanks for looking.

Birthday Quilt Finish

I finished this quilt for my sweet mother-in-law's 82nd birthday.  It is from a jellyroll/charm\precuts book.  I used 2 charm packs and some extra fabics for sashing and stars. The stars look almost black in the pic but it is really a beautiful chocolate brown. She really loved it.

You can kind of see my quilting.  I still haven't mastered stippling, but I am going to keep at it.
